Pregnancy - Birth - Child

Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time when the body undergoes massive changes. Significant strain is placed on your posture and joints as everything needs to become more flexible to make room for the growing baby and prepare the body for birth. The result of this is often discomfort and pain.   Gayle (link to profile) is experienced treating pregnant women.  She uses safe and gentle techniques and utilises her Cranio-sacral therapy training to treat the discomfort and improve her client’s general feeling of wellbeing.

Birth

There are many factors involved in how things progress on labour day, and a little bit of preparation goes a long way to make things easier and more comfortable for both mother and baby.  Preparation for the childbirth can take many forms, but two of the biggest factors in ensuring the birth goes smoothly is optimal fetal positioning and a mother’s sense of readiness.  Gayle uses safe and gentle techniques and teaches exercises to facilitate relaxation on a connective tissue level   in the mother  which aids fetal positioning , encouraging baby to be lying in the head down, facing backwards position so that both of you have a more comfortable experience on delivery day.
