Originally from Kent in the UK, Alice obtained her Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) degree from King’s College London. Once qualified, she worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in a variety of specialities across the major London hospitals. She was able to gain experience in treating both acute and chronic conditions.
From this, Alice showed a keen interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions and went on to work as a senior outpatient physiotherapist in the NHS alongside working in a private clinic running evening sessions.
Her passion lies in sports rehabilitation. Alice has worked with Wellington and National Hockey teams providing field side assistance and sports related rehabilitation. She has attended a number of sports related courses to further develop her skills in this area.
Having completed two marathons, Alice has had first hand experience of sports related injuries, the impact it has on training and the need for effective rehabilitation to aid return.
Alice has continued to develop her skill-set in New Zealand and has already added dry needling and LGBTQI+ training to her physio tool belt.
Alice is excited to continue developing her career in New Zealand and embrace the kiwi lifestyle whilst in Wellington.
